I have some fun news to share with you guys! As many of you may know, Saressa Designs jewelry has shown up in some incredible places over the last few months, including GBK’s New York Fashion Week and Primetime Emmy’s Luxury Lounges, and the The Vampire Diaires. My most recent press release has more details, including celebs who loved their Saressa Designs jewelry: http://www.prweb.com/releases/SaressaDesigns/TheVampireDiaries/prweb11283605.htm
Alysia Reiner, of Orange is the New Black, wore her Arrow necklace to the Seth Meyers cover party, celebrating Gotham Magazine’s October 2013 issue. You can see her in photo #6 here: http://gotham-magazine.com/galleries/seth-meyers-october-cover-party-celebration-at-sanctuary-hotel
Ok, time to cut to the chase. So last night, the talented and adorable Selena Gomez performed live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, putting on an outstanding show to a sold-out arena of fans. The concert was part of her Stars Dance world tour, celebrating her new album. During the after party back-stage, Selena and her crew were gifted swag bags from The Artisan Group. Among the goodies, Selena received one of our Valkyrie necklaces, and a selection of crew members each received an Argonaut necklace (pyrite nuggets)

Both of these are available here at SaressaDesigns.com, we well as in my Etsy shop and at select boutiques. The holidays are fast approaching, and these would make wonderful gifts! Be sure to add them to your wish list so friends and family members know where to find them as well.
That's right! I'm excited to let you all know that my signature bezel-wrapped druzy solitaire necklaces will be gifted to attending celebrities at GBK's Luxury Lounge honoring this year's nominees! Read the below press release for more info.
There’s a lot happening right now at Saressa Designs. More often than not, the days here start early, and end early….the next day. Though hard work can feel defeating at times, in hind-sight it becomes weightless once the payoff is exposed. With that being said, I’m bursting to share some news with you!
Earlier in the Summer, I had the opportunity to send a piece of jewelry, in association with The Artisan Group, to the wardrobe stylist of The Vampire Diaries to be considered for use in Season 5. I’m so excited to announce that my submission was chosen!
Be on the lookout in November for my Dew earrings in Lapis, worn in episode 5 by Caroline (Candice Accola)! If you want an idea of how excited I was to get the news, this should do the trick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3awzmKZaAE

Happy August! I’m kicking off this month with some fun news to share. Saressa Designs is headed to NY Fashion Week! My Arrow necklaces are going to be included in The Artisan Group’s celebrity swag bags at GBK’s NY Fashion Week Luxury Lounge, taking place Sept 6th-7th. Want to win one for yourself? Stay tuned as I’ll be giving one away this weekend with my first ‘share it to wear it’ post (on Facebook)!
I hope you all are having a fantastic Summer!
So, it has officially been FOREVER (well, months really) since I last posted an update here. I have always been a less-than-stellar writer, and I'm fairly certain that the good Lord did not put me on this earth to blog (or dance. I have no doubt that I could freeze hell over with my attempts to bust a move). Though I have been quiet on the blog/newsletter front, there still has been some action taking place over here at Saressa Designs. It has been a non-stop party locally, and there are some other big things on the horizon. Here is what's new.....ish.
First of all, let me get the mini-bummer out of the way. Months ago I received confirmation that my Ice Age necklace was going to be used on this season of True Blood (along with a few other pieces from fellow Artisan Group members). This is still happening, but will likely be delayed until season 7. Season 6 is going to be extremely intense (and shorter than usual), and if you plan to watch you will get an idea of what I mean. I will disclose more info as I'm allowed to, so I apologize for the vague explanation. Waiting is the hardest part!
Over the last few months Saressa Designs has found a home in some new shops! You can now find lots of the pieces from my online collection, as well as pieces uniquely designed for some of these shops. If you live in the area, or ever plan to pass by or visit, you should stop in and check out these shops. They're all fantastic!
The Ruddy Duck - Hood River, OR
Converge - Depot Bay, OR
The Wild Trillium - Benton, IL
Willows - Vancouver, WA
For all you locals, Saressa Designs will be returning to the Sandy Mountain Festival this year! This is the only show I plan on vending at until the holiday season, so plan to stop on by and visit! The festival takes place on July 14th-15th, in the gorgeous Meinig Park in Sandy, OR. You can get more details here: http://www.sandymountainfestival.org/. Don't be deceived by the webpage either. This event is really outstanding, with lots of activities for kids as well.
Stay tuned because I have some more fun announcements coming! I'll give you one hint: Fashion Week.
I hope you all have a fantastic Summer!
Wow, 2012 is gone. It sort of feels like Total Recall, thinking back on this last year. In January, I was just getting my feet wet on Etsy, had barely begun to build this website, and was so stoked about having my first wholesale account under my belt which meant my designs were carried in 2 shops. I was totally excited to try and change that. Now, with barely a toe dipping into 2013 I have grown from being carried by 2 shops, to 16 shops. Yep,16 and there is a chance that number will increase again before month of January is out. I'm stunned, grateful to the 100th power and a little exhausted... in a good way. I was also blessed to be picked up by Parker + Paige and The Artisan Group which I wholeheartedly believe has helped expand my line in such a drastic way. I have so much more I could blab on about, but I will simply say THANK YOU to all of my colleagues and customers for making 2012 so amazing. I cannot wait for all that 2013 has in store for my line. Now, I want to kick off 2013 with some amazing news that I've been dying to share.
A few weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity through The Artisan Group, to submit one piece of jewelry to Audrey Fisher, the amazing costume designer for HBO's True Blood. I decided to send in my newest design, my Ice Age necklace, which I just finished prior to the opportunity coming up. My gut told me it was the right piece to submit, so I did without hesitation. Within 24 hours of confirmation that Audrey had received my necklace, I was informed that it was selected to be used in the upcoming season (6) of True Blood. Um, Er-Mah-Gerd! (<-- OMG. For those of you who have no idea what that's about just google the word w/o the hyphens). I don't have confirmation yet as to who will be wearing my necklace but once I find out who, when and where, I will be sure to update you all. I'm incredibly excited and flattered to have been chosen, and I think this is an incredible way to start the new year off. Here's a photo of the necklace along with a link to the item description here on site:
